ABOUT ME

What is your favorite book?
Beside the Bible, for pleasure I like anything by John Grisham and Glen Beck. For spiritual inspiration, some of my favorite authors are Rick Warren, John, Ortberg, and Joel Osteen.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I enjoy riding any of my motorcycles every opportunity I get. I especially enjoy riding in the Smoky Mountains. Linda introduced me to ship cruises a few years ago and I have enjoyed traveling to the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

What is your favorite food?
Crawfish etoufee is my all-time favorite, but I do love all Cajun/Creole cuisine and most seafood. My favorite restaurant is Prejean’s in Carencro, LA.

What is your favorite Bible verse?
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Psalm 100: 1-2 – Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”

What are your favorite sports teams?
LSU Fighting Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. I am also a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants because of the Peyton and Eli Manning.

What was your most memorable moment in ministry?
Leading my children to the Lord. I also had the privilege to baptize my son.

What is your favorite Biblical character and who do you relate to?
From the Old Testament, David; from the New Testament, Peter. Both of these men failed God in significant ways, but yet God forgave them and used them.

What pasttime do you enjoy the most?
Spending time with Linda either at home or going out.

What is your favorite music?
My musical tastes are very eclectic, ranging from Baroque to 70’s Classic Rock. My favorite Christian artists include bands like Mercy Me and Casting Crowns. I love the classic hymns yet I love the freshness of the newer worship songs as well. My favorite quote regarding worship music I heard from Terry Williams, with the Florida Baptist Convention, “Worship is not a genre.”
