Hanging of the Greens


Our first Christmas service of the season, the Hanging of the Greens, will be tonight at
6:00 p.m. The Hanging of the Green service will include Christmas carols, the Christmas story, the Lord’s Supper, and decorating the Chrismon Tree. Each person will be given a Chrismon ornament to place on our Chrismon Tree in our church foyer. This is the night that our Christmas decorations are illuminated for the first time. Please join us in this, the first Sunday of the Christmas Season.



Cakes for Christmas Program


We will be serving cakes and refreshments during the intermission for our Christmas program which will be in the Arnold Fellowship Hall on December 6th and 7th. Calling for volunteers to help with hosting a table each night of the program. We need a total of 35 people for each night. If you can help both nights that would be great but if can help only one that that will be fine. We will also need people to help with clean up after the program each night.
For the refreshments, we need 2 layer round cakes. See Dee Fowler for the kind of cakes that are needed. There will be a menu  from which our guests can choose.Contact Dee Fowler 321-720-9410 for further information.



Christmas Musical


December 6th and 7th at 6:00 p.m. will be our Christmas Musical, "We're Glad You Came". It is not too late to become involved in the Christmas program. Barry and Linda Aymond will be glad to have your help.See Dee Fowler if you can help serving tables. Please invite your friends, family and neighbors. 



Annual Toy Giveaway


Mission Development is accepting toy donations for the annual Christmas TOY Giveaway..  Toys should be new and not wrapped.These toys are donated to Officer Barbara Matthews and the Cocoa Police Dept. and go to “needy” children in our area.  Please no guns or war toys....Boxes will be in the CAC or you can turn them in at the church office.  Please see Paula Ashton or Kay Nix for more information.Officer Barbara Matthews with the Cocoa Police, will be here on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 at  5:30 p.m. (during Church supper). They will be collecting the toy donations.Please bring extra food for church supper to feed our Cocoa Police.


Teddy Bear Run


The annual Teddy Bear Run will be on Sunday, December 7th this year. As in the past, church will begin at 10:30 AM to allow time for everyone to avoid the traffic jam as the bikers head to Melbourne with toys for the Shriner's Hospital.


Christmas Poinsettias


We will again be decorating our church with poinsettias honoring and remembering your loved ones. This year the cost will be $10.00 each and the deadline for orders is December 17th. They will remain in the church until December 29th. Order forms will be available in the Sunday bulletin beginning after Thanksgiving


Food Pantry


Please continue to bring canned goods and non-perishable foods for the Christmas food boxes. Collection Baskets will be available in the narthex and the CAC.
