Heritage Day

June 9th marked our 103rd anniversary. We had a great time of fellowship. We recognized the families that joined our congregation in the 60's. We also had a wonderful luncheon at the CAC. More than 200 people were in attendance.  To see photos from this event please CLICK HERE

Tuesday's Prayer Gathering

Praying Scripturally For Our Children and Youth
Join us for this 12 week Prayer Gathering. Every Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the Dixon Room. 
Starting on June 4th until August 27th (we will skip the week of July 9 due to VBS) .
Week 3 :  June 18 - Obedience, Love, Patience, Joy
Week 4:   June 25 - Wisdom, Humility, Respect, Servanthood
Week 5 :  July 2 - Compassion, Responsability, Self-Discipline, Kindness
Week 6:   July 16 - Gratitude, Prayerfulness, Loving God, Meekness
Week 7:   July 23 - Honoring Parents, Safety, Temptation, Self-Control
Week 8 :  July 30 - Integrity, Justice, Heart for Missions, Love for God's word
Week 9:   August 6 - Worship, Perseverance, Peace-Loving, Fruitfulness
Week 10: August 13 - Generosity, Willingness to work, Biblical Self-Esteem, Faithfulness

Back-Pack Giveaway

This year instead of just giving out back-packs and school supplies we want to make this a fun event, a 
time when we can minister to and reach out to the people in our community. We want the children to go 
away knowing that church is a fun place where they can learn about God! To do this we need your help. We are hoping to do things like face painting, perhaps offer free haircuts, provide refreshments.
We need your help. We need volunteers. If you are able to help, have a good idea or just have questions please call Paula Ashton at 321.632.5225. As in the past, we will be collecting the school supplies or you can donate to help buy the needed supplies.

VBS 2013

6:00 to 8:00 PM
The theme for Vacation Bible School this year is "Colossal Coaster World". We will have sign up forms at the CAC and the church office. Pick one up and register your children. We also need volunteers. If you want to help please contact the church office at 321-636-2868.

Help Wanted

Several ministries of our church need your help. Please look at the list, pray about it and check with Eve in the church office to sign up.
 
  • Children's Department workers are need in the Children's Sunday School as well as Children's church
  • Ushers. Meet, greet and welcome visitors as well as church members to Sunday worship.
  • Bus/Van Drivers. Our bus ministry needs help for Sunday morning and Van drivers for special events. Check with the church office for more information about this ministry.

The Men's Ministry Bible Study will not be meeting during the summer. We will resume our study at the beginning of September.
